David Page is running for TN State House District 86 with a commitment to servant leadership, community accountability, voter education, and practical solutions that speak directly to the needs of families, schools, neighborhoods, seniors, workers, and young people.
This campaign is centered on listening, learning, serving, and representing the people with honesty, courage, and respect.
I am running because District 86 deserves leadership that understands the everyday concerns of the people. My focus is on being present, accessible, and prepared to work for the community from day one.
Redistricting has changed how many voters understand their districts, their representation, and their political voice. I believe voters deserve clear information, fair representation, and leaders who explain what is happening instead of leaving the people confused or disconnected from the process.
As an educator, I understand the importance of safe schools, strong instruction, parent communication, student accountability, and support for teachers.
Public safety must include prevention, accountability, youth development, neighborhood investment, and trust between communities and those who serve them.
District 86 needs access to jobs, small business support, workforce training, and opportunities that help families build stability.
I believe voters should know who represents them, what district they live in, what issues are being discussed, and how government decisions affect their daily lives.
I had the opportunity to work with and learn from the lateRepresentative Barbara Cooper, gaining insight into how elected officials should conduct themselves, serve constituents, understand legislative responsibilities, and prepare to represent the people in the Tennessee State House.
That experience helped shape my understanding of public service, legislative responsibility, and the importance of representing people with dignity and preparation.
Upon winning, my goal is to immediately begin serving District 86 by listening to residents, building relationships, reviewing community needs, studying legislative priorities, and working to make sure the people of this district have a strong and active voice in Nashville.
Members of Tennessee Voter Connection will be able to view candidate platforms, communicate about issues, and stay informed about elections, districts, and community concerns.
